By integrating the rigid traditions of Japanese cuisine with unconventional international influences from Italy, France, and around the world, Sushi Sasa aims to be the evolution of sushi. Sushi Sasa has taken this progressive approach even further with American fare, by fusing East Coast innovation with West Coast charm. Although Chef Wayne Conwell and Sushi Sasa are determined to maintain a distinctively Japanese heart, the menu boasts creations that are both traditional and nouveau enough to satisfy every craving.
Within one year of opening, Sushi Sasa has been given the title of best sushi restaurant by Westword, The Rocky Mountain News, and CitySearch, an honor for which they are very grateful. Sushi Sasa is also one of 1,500 restaurants to be featured in the Zagat review of top American restaurants. In addition, the Gabby Gourmet listed Sushi Sasa as the only Japanese restaurant that is: “to die for”.
